As Your Heart Chose
Tutorial Open up all the materials and place them in the right places. Font to fonts, gradient to gradients, images to psp file and so on. This tutorial was written for PSP 9. 1. Open a transparent image 640 x 480. 2. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 3. Foreground color #000000 or choose your own 4. Background color #014654 or choose your own 5. Materials Palette - make a gradient with your two colors - Settings - Angle - 45, Repeats - 5, Style - Radial. 6. Flood fill your transparent image with your gradient color or the gradient ww midnight black in the supplies. 7. Effects - Je De Lignes - Entrelacement 8. Open image 1 - suzi - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 50 - Move to the upper center of the background. Blend Mode - Screen 9. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 10. Layers - Duplicate layer - Opacity - 50 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 11. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 12. Open image 2 - dieter - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 100 - Move to the upper right of the background. Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy). 13. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 14. Open image 3 - dieter - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 100 - Move to the middle center of the background. Blend Mode - Overlay 15. Open image 4 - dieter - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 100 - Move to the lower center of the background. Blend Mode - Overlay 16. Layers - Duplicate layer - Opacity - 100 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 17. Open image 5 - sbg - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 100 - Move to the left side of the background. Blend Mode - Overlay 18. Layers - Duplicate layer - Opacity - 100 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 19. Open image 6 - sbg - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 60 - Move to the middle center of the background. Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy). 20. Open image 7 - suzi - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 60 - Move to the right bottom corner of the background. Blend Mode - Screen 21. Layers - Duplicate layer - Opacity - 90 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 22. Open image 8 - dieter - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 50 - Move to the middle center of the background. Blend Mode - Screen 23. Layers Palette - Move Image 8 under image 7 (the woman) and image 6 (the hands). 24. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 25. Layers - Duplicate layer - Opacity - 100 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 26. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 27. Open image 9 - sbg - as your heart chose - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Opacity - 10 - Move to the middle center of the background so it covers the entire blend. Blend Mode - Normal. 28. Layers - New Raster Layer 29. Flood fill your new raster layer with your foreground color #000000 or choose your own. 30. Layers Palette - New raster layer flood filled with foreground color. Use the gold pattern or the color of your choice and stamp the brush 3 times. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black - Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black 70. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen 71. Layers - Duplicate Layer - Repeat 1 more time. 72. Open image 10 - winni corner - as your heart chose. Edit - copy - paste as new layer. Move into left upper corner. 73. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black 74. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen 75. Layers - Duplicate Layer - move just under the first corner in the first frame. 76. Layers - Merge Down 77. Effects - Simple filter - Top Left Mirror. 78. Layers - Merge - merge all flat 79.To add your name go to font - ILS Script - size 16 - stroke 0 - anti-alias - smooth. Use the color or pattern or gradient of your choice. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - settings: vertical 1 - horizontal 1 - opacity 100 - blur 1 - color black. You can also use the text tool and add your own text. I used ILS Script font but you can use whatever font you prefer. Color - ww as your heart chose gold border. 80. Position your name in the bottom right area where you would like to have it. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. 81. Layers - duplicate - repeat 82. Layers - Merge all flat 83. Save your work. You're all done.
