Forever Cherish Tutorial Open up all the materials and place them in the right places. Font to fonts, gradient to gradients, images to psp file and so on. This tutorial was written for PSP 9. 1. Open a transparent image 640 x 480. 2. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 3. Foreground color #2e190c or choose your own 4. Background color #dcc3a0 or choose your own 5. Materials Palette - make a gradient with your two colors - Settings - Angle - 45, Repeats - 1, Style - Linear. Invert - unchecked 6. Flood fill your transparent image with your gradient color. 7. Open Image 1 - dieter - forever cherish. Edit - copy - and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Normal. Opacity - 50. 8. Raster deform Tool. Stretch image 1 on all four sides til it covers all of your background. 9. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 10. Layers - New Raster Layer 11. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 12. Foreground color #2e190c or choose your own 13. Flood fill your new layer with your foreground color. Blend Mode - Soft Light. Opacity - 60 14. Open Image 1 - dieter - forever cherish. Edit - copy - and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Normal. Opacity - 100. It should be in the middle of your background. 15. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 16. Open Image 2 - monique - forever cherish. Edit - copy - and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Normal. Opacity - 100. Move image 2 to the right bottom corner. 17. Image - Mirror Image 2. Now move the image so that the one eye and the cigarette peek out of the corner. 18. Open Image 3 - bene - forever cherish. Edit - copy - and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Normal. Opacity - 100. Move image 3 to the left bottom corner and position with her foot almost touching the bottom and her elbow almost touching the left side. 19. Open Image 4 - monique - forever cherish. Edit - copy - and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Normal. Opacity - 100. Move image 4 to the center of the bottom of the background between image 2 and image 3, 20. Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all layers - unchecked. 21. Adjust - Softness - Soften. 22. Open Image 5 - dieter - forever cherish. Edit - copy - and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy). Opacity - 100. It should be in the middle of your background placed on the tracks to look like it belongs there. 23. Image - Mirror - that should make it look like it belongs there. 24. Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue - 30, Saturation - 50. Alternatively you can colorize before placing it in the graphic. 25. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 26. Layers - New Raster Layer 27. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 28. Foreground color #2e190c or choose your own 29. Flood fill your new layer with your foreground color. Blend Mode - Soft Light. Opacity - 60 30. Layers - Merge All Flat 31. Layers - Duplicate Layer 32. Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout - Settings - Vertical - 35, Horizontal - 35, Shadow Color - black, Opacity - 75, Blur - 100. 33. Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout - Settings - Vertical - -35 (minus 35), Horizontal - -35 (minus 35) , Shadow Color - black, Opacity - 75, Blur - 100. 34. Layers - Merge all flat 35. Effects - Mura's Seamless - Shadow - Settings - Offset X - 132, Offset Y - 132, Color R - 0, Color G - 0, Color B - 0, Effects - 255. 36. Effects - Xero - Seasons - Settings - Red Cut/Boost - 0, Green Cut/Boost - 5, Blue Cut/Boost - 5, Effect Strength - 255. 37. Effects - Xero - Mistifier - Settings - Haziness - 128, Strength - 128, Red Mist - 255, Green Mist - 255 - Blue Mist - 255 38. Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Clarify - Setting - Strength of Effect - 1. Repeat once more. 39. Open image 6 - sbg word art - forever cherish. Edit. copy and paste as a new layer. Blend Mode - Normal - Opacity - 100. Move to the top left side above the woman and not touching the smoke from the train. 40. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black 41. Layers - Duplicate Layer. Repeat twice 42. Layers - Merge all flat 43. Image - Add Border - 2 pixels. Flood - fill with #dcc3a0 or color of your choice. 44. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. - Repeat - Selections - Deselect. 45. Image - Add Border - 6 pixels. Select with Magic wand. 46. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 47. Foreground color #2e190c or choose your own 48. Flood fill your border with your foreground color. 49. Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds - Settings - Width - 2, Opacity - 50, Color - Black, Light from left/top - checked 50. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 51. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel - Settings - Bevel - Straight (1), Width - 20, Smoothness - 2, Depth - 2, Ambience - 8, Shininess - 18, Color - white, Angle - 315, Intensity - 37, Elevation - 37. 52. Selections - Select None. 53. Image - Add Border - 2 pixels. Flood - fill with #dcc3a0 or color of your choice. 54. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. - Repeat - Selections - Deselect. 55. Image - Add Border - 30 pixels. Select border with magic wand. 56. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 57. Floodfill border layer with #2e190c or choose your own. 58. Layers - New Raster Layer 59. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 60. Floodfill border layer with #dcc3a0 or choose your own. 61. Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load/Save Mask from disk - load cat 163 msk. Settings - Source luminance - checked, Fit to layer - checked, Hide all mask - checked. Apply mask to border. 62. Layers - Merge - Merge Group. 63. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 64. Layers - New Raster Layer 65. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 66. Foreground color #2e190c or choose your own 67. Flood fill your new layer with your foreground color. Blend Mode - Soft Light. Opacity - 60 68. Layers - Merge All Flat 69. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 70. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel - Settings - Bevel - Straight (1), Width - 20, Smoothness - 2, Depth - 2, Ambience - 8, Shininess - 18, Color - white, Angle - 315, Intensity - 37, Elevation - 37. 71. Selections - Select None. 72. Image - Add Border - 2 pixels. Flood - fill with #dcc3a0 or color of your choice. 73. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. - Repeat - Selections - Deselect. 74. Image - Add Border - 6 pixels. Select with Magic wand. 75. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 76. Foreground color #2e190c or choose your own 77. Flood fill your border with your foreground color. 78. Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds - Settings - Width - 2, Opacity - 50, Color - Black, Light from left/top - checked 79. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings. 80. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel - Settings - Bevel - Straight (1), Width - 20, Smoothness - 2, Depth - 2, Ambience - 8, Shininess - 18, Color - white, Angle - 315, Intensity - 37, Elevation - 37. 81. Selections - Select None. 82. Image - Add Border - 2 pixels. Flood - fill with #dcc3a0 or color of your choice. 83. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. - Repeat - Selections - Deselect. 84. Text Tool - Settings - Create as - vector, Direction - up and down, Font - Beautiful Size - 18, Stroke width - 0, Font Style - Bold/Italic, Alignment - center, Anti-alias - sharp, Line style - solid. Type in your name or initials. I used color #dcc3a0 or choose your own. 85. Layers Palette - Select Vector layer and click on the plus sign in front of it. Click on the text and right click your mouse. A menu will open up. Scroll up to properties and click on it. Stroke should be checked and the little box should have your gold pattern in it. Fill should also be checked and should have your red background color in it. Stroke width should be 0 and the line style should be solid. Visible should be checked. Anti-alias should be checked. Once all these are correct click okay. 86. Layer Palette - Highlight your vector layer, right click on your mouse and convert to raster layer. 87. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - settings: vertical 1 - horizontal 1 - opacity 50 - blur 5 - color black. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen 88. Layers - Duplicate Layer. Repeat. 89. As an alternative you may use your watermark. 90. Layers - Merge all flat 91. If you are satisfied with your image then you are finished. 92. You are now all done and I hope you enjoyed this tut.
