She's A Maneater Tutorial

Open up all the materials and place them in the right places. Font to fonts, gradient to gradients,
images to psp file and so on. This tutorial was written for PSP 9.

1. Open a transparent image 640 x 480.

2. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette.

3. Foreground color #c0c0ff or choose your own

4. Background color #40a9b9 or choose your own

5. Additional color used #000000

6. Flood fill your transparent image with your additional color used #000000

7. Layers - New Raster Layer

8. Paint Brush - krisgrid - stamp new layer once in each corner. Settings - Size - 350,
Step - 32, Density - 100, Rotation - 0, Opacity - 100, Blend Mode Normal. color #c0c0ff

9. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black

10. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default

11. Layers - New Raster Layer - Opacity 50, Blend Mode - Screen

12. Paint Brush - L Brush Rose - stamp new layer three times left to right. Settings - Size - 452,
Step - 32, Density - 100, Rotation - 0, Opacity - 100, Blend Mode Normal. color #40a9b9

13. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black

14. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default

15. Layers - Duplicate Layer - Opacity - 100, Blend Mode - Normal

17. Open image 1 - suzi - shes a maneater - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.

18. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - White

22. Open image 2 - mario - shes a maneater - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the lower center of the background. Blend Mode - Screen

23. Layers - Duplicate Layer - Opacity 90, Blend Mode - Normal

24. Effects - Xero - Mistifier - Settings - Haziness - 130, Strength - 130, Red Mist - 255,
Green Mist - 255 - Blue Mist - 255.

25. Layers - Merge All Flat

26. Effects - Mura's Seamless - Shadow - Settings - Offset X - 132, Offset Y - 132, Color R - 0,
Color G - 0, Color B - 0, Effects - 255. - Repeat

27. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with silverbeads fill texture - shes a maneater.
Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - White -

28. Adjust - Color Balance - Negative Image

32. Image - Add Border - 40 pixels. Magic wand - select border

33. Flood fill with ww sbg background pattern or choose your own.

58. Image - Flip, Image - Mirror

59.To add your name go to text tool - French Vanilla Swirl - size 16 - stroke 0 - anti-alias - smooth. Use the color
or pattern or gradient of your choice. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - settings: vertical 1 - horizontal 1 -
opacity 100 - blur 1 - color white. I used the silverbeads fill.

66. Layers Palette - turn off copy of background layer

67. Layers Palette - Highlight Background Layer

68. Picture Tube Tool - Star Tube - Settings - Scale - 12, Step - 200, Placement - Random,
Selection - Random. Place stars in all the diamonds in the border and background in the upper
right corner.

69. Layers Palette - Unlock and highlight copy of background layer

70. Picture Tube Tool - Star Tube - Settings - Scale - 25, Step - 200, Placement - Random,
Selection - Random. Place stars in all the diamonds in the border and background in the lower
left corner.

71. Layers Palette - Highlight background - Edit - copy and paste as a new image.
Save as Frame A.

72. Layers Palette - Highlight copy of background - Edit - copy and paste as a new image.
Save as Frame B.

73. Open Animation Shop.

74. Back in PSP click on Frame A. - Edit - copy - go to animation shop

75. In animation shop - Edit - paste as new animation

76. Back in PSP click on Frame B. - Edit - copy - go to animation shop

77. In animation shop - Edit - paste after current frame.

78. In animation shop - File - Save as and name it - animation wizard will come up.

79. Settings for first window. - put bar at better quality image
do not check use these settings
Standard settings selected, level 4
Optimizing for Animated GIF file
Optimized output will update the current animation
Write minimal frames
Use transparency for better compression
Collapse identical frames
Optimized image will contain 255 colors
No local palettes will be used
Generate palette by Octree
Map colors to palette via error diffusion.
All non-visible elements retained.
Click Next

80 . Second window - Optimization wizard will optimize. - Click Next

81. Third window - Optimization preview. - Click Next

82. Fourth window - Optimization results - Click Finish

83. To check results click on view animation in the tool bar.

84. Save your work. You're all done.
