Spending My Time
Tutorial Open up all the materials and place them in the right places. Font to fonts, gradient to gradients, images to psp file and so on. This tutorial was written for PSP 9. 1. Open a transparent image 640 x 480. 2. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 3. Flood fill your layer with ww twisted black silk pattern - image 1 - sbg - ww black silk shows you how it should look. Settings: Angle - 0, Repeats - 0, Style - Linear, uncheck invert. 4. Layers - New Raster Layer 5. Flood fill your layer with ww spending my time gradient - image 2 - sbg - gradient sample shows you how it should look. Settings: Angle - 0, Repeats - 0, Style - Linear, uncheck invert. 6. Effects - Filter Factory A - Pool Shadow - default settings 7. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Settings - Source Luminous - uncheck invert mask - apply image 3 - essex girl - chevron mask. - Layers - Merge - group - Opacity - 90 8. Layers - New Raster Layer 9. Flood fill your layer with ww spending my time gradient - image 2 - sbg - gradient sample shows you how it should look. Settings: Angle - 0, Repeats - 0, Style - Linear, uncheck invert. 10. Effects - Filter Factory A - Pool Shadow - default settings 11. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Settings - Source Luminous - uncheck invert mask - apply image 4 - essex girl - chandelier mask. - Layers - Merge - group - Opacity - 80 Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings 12. Layers - Duplicate chandelier group layer - Image - flip. - Windows - Duplicate background and save for later. 13. Open image 5 - patry - spending my time - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Center image 5 between the chandeliers. Opacity - 100. - Layers palette - move image 5 under the 2 chandeliers. - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. 14. Open image 6 - patry - spending my time - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Center image 6 across the bottom so it looks like she is resting on the mask. Opacity - 100. 15. Open image 7 - patry - spending my time - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Center image 7 on the left side. Opacity - 70. Layers palette - move image 7 (raster 4) under image 6 (raster 3). 16. Open image 8 - patry - spending my time - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Center image 8 on the right side. Opacity - 70. Layers palette - move image 8 (raster 5) under image 6 (raster 3). 17. Open image 9 - patry - spending my time - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Move image 9 to the upper left corner. Opacity - 50. Layers palette - move image 9 (raster 6) under image 8 (raster 5). 18. Open image 10 - sbg text - spending my time. Go to adjust - color balance - negative image. Edit - copy - paste as a new layer. Move into the center between the woman and the couple. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 4, Horizontal - 4, Opacity - 100, Blur - 10, Color - Black - Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance - Effects - FM Time Tools - Blend Emboss -default settings - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen 19. Layers - merge all. 20. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with Image 11 - gold pattern. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 4, Horizontal - 4, Opacity - 100, Blur - 10, Color - Black - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen - Selections - Select None. 21. Image - Add Border - 30 pixels. Magic wand - select border - Edit - Copy the duplicate background saved in step . 12. Edit - Paste - Into Selection. - Effects - Unplugged Effects - Lens Reflection - Settings - Red - 4, Green - 4, Blue - 4. Repeat. - Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel - Settings - Smoothness - 0, Depth - 4, Ambience - 0, Shininess - 0, Width - 6, Angle - 315, Intensity - 50, Elevation - 30, Color - White, Bevel - Round. - Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default Settings - Selections - Select - None. 22. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with Image 11 - gold pattern. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 4, Horizontal - 4, Opacity - 100, Blur - 10, Color - Black - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen - Selections - Select None. 23. Open image 12 - patry corner - spending my time. Edit - copy - paste as new layer. Move into left upper corner. Effects - Simple filter - Top Left Mirror, merge - all. 24.To add your name go to font - VivaldiD - size 22 - stroke 1 - anti-alias - smooth. Use the color or pattern or gradient of your choice. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - settings: vertical 4 - horizontal 4 - opacity 100 - blur 7.00 - color black 25. Position your name in the bottom right area where you would like to have it. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. 26. Layers - merge all flat 27. Save your work. You're all done.
