What's Wrong With Me Tutorial Open up all the materials and place them in the right places. Font to fonts, gradient to gradients, images to psp file and so on. This tutorial was written for PSP 9. 1. Open a transparent image 640 x 480. 2. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette. 3. Foreground color #4f283b or choose your own 4. Background color #824261 or choose your own 5. Materials Palette - make a gradient with your two colors - Settings - Angle - 45, Repeats - 6, Style - Radial, Invert - checked. 6. Flood fill your transparent image with your gradient color or the gradient sample in the supplies. 7. Layers - Duplicate Layer. 8 Effects - Filter Factory Gallery N - Starfish - Settings - Outline Width - 142, Radius - 213, Rotation - 78, Red - 190, Green - 97, Blue - 143, Softness - 17, Petals - 47. 9. Layers Palette - Duplicate layer Opacity - 100, Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 10. Layers - New Raster Layer 11. Open image 1 - sbg - whats wrong with me - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Position in left upper corner so it flows out smoothly .Opacity - 100 - Blend Mode - Normal 12. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen - Repeat 3 times. 13. Open image 2 - suzi - whats wrong with me - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Move rose into bottom left corner. Opacity - 100 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy). 14. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 15. Layers - Duplicate Layer 16. Images - Flip - Images Mirror (you should now have another rose in the opposite corner). 17. Layers Palette - Highlight the copy of your background - Duplicate this layer and move to the top of your layer palette (the duplicate layer). Opacity - 70, Blend Mode - Color. 18 . Layers - Merge All Flat 19. Layers - Duplicate Layer 20. Effects - Filter Factory Gallery N - Starfish - Settings - Outline Width - 142, Radius - 213, Rotation - 78, Red - 190, Green - 97, Blue - 143, Softness - 17, Petals - 47. 21. Layers Palette - Duplicate layer Opacity - 50, Blend Mode - Soft Light 22 . Layers - Merge All Flat 23. Windows - Duplicate times 2 (you should have 3 copies of this now) 24. Minimize your original background and one other leaving one background to work with. 25. Images - Resize - Settings - Panel Dimensions - Width - 690, Height - 530, Pixels Lock aspect ratio - unchecked, Maintain original print size - unchecked, Resize all layers - checked. 26. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with ww gold pattern - whats wrong with me. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black - Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black 27. Effects - Penta - Color Dot - Settings - Value - 90, Distance - 2, Color R - 255, Color G - 255, Color B - 255. 28. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 29. Selections - Select None 30. Save background and minimize. 31. Open the second duplicate background. 32. Images - Resize - Settings - Panel Dimensions - Width - 740, Height - 580, Pixels Lock aspect ratio - unchecked, Maintain original print size - unchecked, Resize all layers - checked. 33. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with ww gold pattern - whats wrong with me. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black - Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black 34. Effects - Penta - Color Dot - Settings - Value - 90, Distance - 2, Color R - 255, Color G - 255, Color B - 255. 35. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 36. Selections - Select None 37. Save background and minimize. 38. Bring up the background that is now 690 x 530. Edit - Copy and paste onto the background that is now 740 x 590 pixels as a new layer. 39. Save this background and minimize. Close the background you copied (690 x 530). You are finished with that background. 40. Bring up your original background that you made two copies of. 41. Open image 3 - ice - whats wrong with me - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Move female into bottom right corner. Opacity - 60 - Blend Mode - Screen. 42. Layers - Duplicate Image 3. Opacity - 60, Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy). 43. Layers Palette - Move duplicate 3 under original image 3 44. Layers - Duplicate Image 3. Opacity - 100, Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy). 45. Layers Palette - Move duplicate 3 over original image 3 46. Open image 4 - suzi - whats wrong with me - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Move male into the upper middle background. Opacity - 40 - Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy) 47 . Layers - Merge All Flat 48. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with ww gold pattern - whats wrong with me. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black - Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black 49. Effects - Penta - Color Dot - Settings - Value - 90, Distance - 2, Color R - 255, Color G - 255, Color B - 255. 50. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default 51. Selections - Select None 52. Edit - Copy and paste into the background you saved earlier (the one that is 740 x 580 that you already prepared. 53. You can now close your original and you should be left with one background that is 750 x 590 pixels and has 3 layers. 54 . Layers - Merge All Flat 55.To add your name go to font - VivaldiD - size 18 - stroke 0 - anti-alias - smooth. Use the color or pattern or gradient of your choice. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - settings: vertical 1 - horizontal 1 - opacity 100 - blur 1 - color black. You can also use the text tool and add your own text. I used VivaldiD font but you can use whatever font you prefer. Color - ww gold pattern - whats wrong with me. 56. Position your name in the bottom right area where you would like to have it. 57. Effects - Penta - Color Dot - Settings - Value - 90, Distance - 2, Color R - 255, Color G - 255, Color B - 255. 58. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen. 59. Layers - duplicate - repeat 60. Layers - Merge all flat 61. You can add corners if you would like even though I chose not to for this one. 62. Save your work. You're all done. Note: When you have Filter Factory Gallery filters that have not been converted you can import them into Filters Unlimited and use them from there.
