You Set My Heart On Fire Tutorial

Open up all the materials and place them in the right places. Font to fonts, gradient to gradients,
images to psp file and so on. This tutorial was written for PSP 9.

1. Open a transparent image 640 x 480.

2. Go into your material properties and bring up the materials palette.

3. Foreground color #e2e2e2 or choose your own

4. Background color #008080 or choose your own

5. Materials Palette - make a gradient with your two colors - Settings - Angle - 45, Repeats - 4,
Style - Radial.

6. Flood fill your transparent image with your gradient color.

7. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Setting - Radius - 35

8. Layers - New Raster Layer

9. Paint Brush - ww patry - still waiting - stamp new layer once in each corner and in the center.

10. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - White

11. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default

12. Layers - Merge All Flat

13. Effects - Flaming Pear - Transline - default settings

14. Layers - New raster Layer

15. Effects - VM Instant Art - Lightlines - Settings - Random Seed - 120, Horizontal Lines - 115,
Vertical Lines - 80

16. Effects - Transparency - Eliminate Black

17. Open image 1 - suzi - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the upper center of the background. Blend Mode - Hard Light

18. Open image 2 - suzi - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the lower center of the background. Blend Mode - Luminance (Legacy)

19. Open image 3 - suzi - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the center of the background and position it so it looks natural.
Blend Mode - Screen

20. Open image 4 - suzi - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the center of the background and position it so it looks natural.
Blend Mode - Screen

21. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default

22. Layers - Duplicate the horse x 4

23. Open image 5 - suzi - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the lower center of the background and position it so it looks natural.
Blend Mode - Normal.

24. Effects - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Settings - Default

25. Layers - Duplicate the horses once - Blend Mode for the duplicate layer only - Screen

26. Open image 6 - suzi - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the left side of the background and position it so it looks natural.
Blend Mode - Normal.

27. Layers Palette - Move Image 6 underneath Image 5 in your layers palette.

28. Layers - Duplicate the lovers once - Blend Mode for the duplicate layer only - Luminance
(Legacy) - Opacity - 60

29. Layers - New Raster Layer

30. 6. Flood fill your layer with your #008080 color or choose your own color.

31. Blend Mode - Soft Light - Opacity - 50

32. Layers - Merge All Flat

33. Effects - Mura's Seamless - Shadow - Settings - Offset X - 132, Offset Y - 132, Color R - 0,
Color G - 0, Color B - 0, Effects - 255. - Repeat

34. Effects - Filters Unlimited - Color Filters - Color Temperature - Settings - Cold/Warm - 128

35. Effects - Xero - Porcelain - Settings - Softness - 50, Strength - 128, Brightness - 128,
Red Channel - 0, Green Channel - 0 - Blue Channel - 255

36. Effects - Xero - Mistifier - Settings - Haziness - 130, Strength - 130, Red Mist - 0,
Green Mist - 0 - Blue Mist - 255.

37. Effects - Xero - Moonlight - Settings - Time of Day - 0

38. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with crystal border pattern - you set my heart on fire.
Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black -
Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black

39. Adjust - Add Noise - Gaussian - 30 - Monochrome checked. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

40. Layers - Duplicate layer - Selections - Select - None.

41. Layers - Merge All Flat.

42. Image - Add Border - 40 pixels. Magic wand - select border

43. Effects - Xero - Moonlight - Settings - Time of Day - 0

44. Effects - Reflection Effects - Kaleidoscope - Settings - Horizontal - 0, Vertical - 0, Rotation - 0,
Scale - 0, Number of petals - 10, Number of orbits - 0, Radial suction - 0, Edge Mode - reflect.

45. Effects - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - Default Settings

46. Layers - Duplicate layer - Selections - Select - None.

47. Image - Add Border - 5 pixels. Flood - fill with crystal border pattern - you set my heart on fire.
Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - -1, Horizontal - -1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black -
Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black

48. Adjust - Add Noise - Gaussian - 30 - Monochrome checked. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

49. Layers - Duplicate layer - Selections - Select - None.

50. Layers - Merge All Flat.

51.. Open image 7 - sbg text - you set my heart on fire - Edit - copy and paste as a new layer.
Opacity - 100 - Move to the right side of the background and position it in the middle.
Blend Mode - Normal.

52. Layers - Duplicate text image 4 times. - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen top layer only.

53. Open image 8 - sbg corner - you set my heart on fire. Edit - copy - paste as new layer.
Move into left upper corner.

54. Effects - Drop Shadow - Settings - Vertical - 1, Horizontal - 1, Opacity - 100, Blur - 1, Color - Black
Adjust - Add Noise - Gaussian - 30 - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

55. Layers - Duplicate Layer

56. Layers - Merge down.

57. Effects - Simple filter - Top Left Mirror.

58. Layers - Merge - merge all flat

59.To add your name go to font - Balmoral LET - size 22 - stroke 0 - anti-alias - smooth. Use the color
or pattern or gradient of your choice. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - settings: vertical 1 - horizontal 1 -
opacity 100 - blur 1 - color black. Adjust - Add Noise - Gaussian - 30 - Monochrome checked.
You can also use the text tool and add your own text. I used Balmoral LET font but you can use
whatever font you prefer. Color - crystal border pattern - you set my heart on fire.

60. Position your name in the bottom right area where you would like to have it. Adjust - Sharpness -
Sharpen.

61. Layers - duplicate - repeat

62. Layers - Merge all flat

63. Save your work. You're all done.
